Bold and Powerful – Ancient Tree Raw Pu-erh from Mangbang Mountain Harvested from the highland forests of Mangbang in Yunnan, this ancient tree Pu-erh features slender buds and leaves covered in fine silvery hairs. Many of the tea trees in this region grow in the unique vine-like “teng tiao” form, indicating age and wild energy. The dry leaves are thick, glossy, and silver-tipped, while the brewed liquor is a bright yellow-green, crystal clear and vibrant. Rich in internal compounds, the tea delivers a full-bodied, masculine character, with a bold fragrance and layered complexity. The taste is initially slightly bitter and astringent, quickly transforming into a sweet, cooling sensation, with a long-lasting salivation (sheng jin) and throat-soothing effect.
