Lancang Ancient Tea 2015 007 Raw Pu-erh is a continuation of the brand’s classic series, first introduced in 2003 and refined over twelve years of craftsmanship. Each annual release represents Lancang Ancient Tea’s gratitude and dedication to tea lovers worldwide. This tea is made primarily from high-mountain ecological old tree tea leaves from the Lancang River basin in Yunnan, blended with a precise proportion of ancient tree material. Using traditional Pu-erh processing and high-temperature steam pressing, the tea cake is well-shaped with plump, tightly knotted strips covered in fine buds. When brewed, it produces a bright golden-yellow liquor with a rich floral honey aroma. The tea is thick and smooth in texture, with a full-bodied, mellow taste that balances sweetness and slight bitterness. The aftertaste is long and refreshing, leaving a lingering fragrance in the cup. A refined and collectible Sheng Pu-erh for both tasting and aging.
