The 1999 Haiwan Tea Factory Yunnan Ancient Tree Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake, known as the “Bagua Cake,” is the factory’s first production and a rare collectible aged raw tea. Made from ancient tree leaves of Yunnan, each 380g cake has been naturally aged in dry storage for over two decades. Even through the cotton paper, a rich aged aroma with subtle floral honey notes can be detected. The cake surface is golden and glossy, with tightly rolled leaves and a clean, pure fragrance. The brewed liquor is amber-honey in color, bright and clear, with a lasting honey aroma on the cup. The texture is full and smooth, offering a long, sweet aftertaste, cooling throat sensation, and lingering woody-floral notes from the ancient trees.
